I need a laptop or notebook for:
Connecting to the internet (facebook, youtube, wordpress, bbc iplayer etc)
MSN (So I need a webcam)
Microsoft word (and reasonable memory space for essays and short stories)
iTunes (but I don’t mind if I have a laptop/ notebook without
I want one that I can take around with me easily but one that’s not slow to load and I won’t have to open task manager every other day.
The battery life has to be more than 2.5 hours on the internet and I should be able to maybe insert disks (not essential). Also I’d like it in a nice blue, green or pink colour.
It has to be less than £270, too.
I’ve already looked at:
Toshiba NB200 n280 and n270
That tiny little VAIO one that’s ridiculously priced
And I like the look of the dell inspiron mini 10v but apparently the battery life is disappointing. I either want a notebook or a small laptop.
Thanks so much!

Yes, some netbooks come with a free system called linux. Usually it is ubuntu linux. It is like Windows and easy to use. Also, because it is free, your netbook costs less, and sometimes you can then get a better quality netbook. Sometimes your netbook may come with a different linux, maybe Linpus (Acer Aspire one) or Xandros (EEE PC).
