i literally just recieved my new laptop in the post, and i’ve connected it to the net, but its soooo slow. each page is taking about 10 minutes to load. its a HP 550 refurbished laptop, nothing has been downloaded yet, and its got 1gb.

Hi, has anyone purchased a refurbished/reconditioned laptop from the pc world/currys/dixons website. They got some good deals on there and lot of them still come with xp or xp pro/media centre which is what I prefer as don’t want vista.
